Instructions

• In the Experiment you will see 2 avatars with different hat colors.
• Whenever the sunglasses of either avatar change color, you need to perform a certain expression (more info on the next page).
• Only the avatar whose sunglasses changed color, will also perform an expression. This expression is irrelevant for your task.
• Perform the correct expression as fast as possible as soon as you see the glasses change color.
• Hold your expression for a short time (~1 second) and then go back to a neutral expression until the next color change. You don't have to wait for the avatar to finish its expression.
• The experiment is very fast-paced, so mistakes can happen. Should you perform an incorrect expression, just proceed as usual.
• Please make sure you are performing each expression clearly. On the next pages you will get more information on how to do that.
